PAYMENT ANALYTICS USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES BASED ON BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Abstract
The article analyzes the features of organizing payment analytics using digital technologies that implement Business Intelligence tools. It was noted that crisis phenomena in the functioning of business entities require timely detection and identification to further prevent them and mitigate the consequences of their impact. It has been determined that payment analytics can be one of the tools for identifying such problematic aspects of the companies’ activity. To achieve the required level of detail in payment transactions, the relevance of using the capabilities of digital technologies was noted. The feasibility of using Business Intelligence to create detailed reports, aggregate disparate financial data, prepare information on optimizing business processes and financial costs, as well as identify opportunities for the development of the organization was determined. The use of the opportunities of the online environment for conducting business activities, the activity of implementing analytical procedures and tools for their implementation by Ukrainian companies in the context of sectors of the economy was investigated. The dynamics of changes in the number of holders of electronic payment instruments in Ukraine and the total volume of non-cash transactions using electronic payment instruments were analyzed. Trends in the use of electronic payment instruments, online environments for conducting business activities and conducting analytical procedures and tools for their implementation in Ukraine were studied. Indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of payment transactions, which are signals for identifying crisis aspects of a company's activities, and the prerequisites for their study were presented. The nuances of creating a payment data monitoring panel were mentioned. Features of using Business Intelligence tools for processing financial information on the activities of a business entity in general and its payment data in particular were shown. An example of implementing a payment metrics monitoring panel in the environment of the Google Looker digital product was given.
