ANALYSIS OF THE INNOVATION AND INVESTMENT POTENTIAL OF ENSURING ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY
Abstract
The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the innovation and investment potential as a key factor in ensuring the economic security of the agricultural sector of Ukraine. The relevance of the study is due to significant transformations in the agricultural sector, which are accompanied by both global and internal challenges that require new economic, technological and managerial approaches. The purpose of the work is to comprehensively analyze the innovation and investment potential as a component of ensuring the economic security of the agricultural sector of Ukraine, as well as to formulate recommendations for increasing its effectiveness in the conditions of modern transformation processes. The research methodology is based on a comprehensive approach, which includes the following main methods: analysis and synthesis – to study the components of the innovation and investment potential and their relationships with the economic security of the agricultural sector; structuring methods – to identify key influencing factors and classify them; statistical methods – to assess the dynamics and trends in the development of investments and innovations in agriculture based on empirical data. An analytical review of the dynamics of investments in the agricultural sector for the period 2021-2024 was carried out, in particular, attention was focused on the introduction of digital technologies, production automation and biotechnology, and regional features of innovative activity were identified. A detailed analysis confirms positive trends in the development of innovative potential as a factor in increasing productivity, but emphasizes numerous obstacles – financial, organizational and infrastructural, which hinder the active implementation of innovative technologies. Proposals are made to strengthen the role of the state and develop a holistic policy that will help stimulate investment, modernize the technological base and develop a support system for small and medium-sized agribusiness. It is noted that the state should act as an active partner that creates conditions and provides mechanisms for the effective implementation of innovations and minimize risks. The prospects for further scientific research are related to the justification of practical measures to ensure reliable economic security of the Ukrainian agricultural sector in the face of modern challenges.
