STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS IN THE CONDITIONS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
Abstract
The article reveals the theoretical and methodological principles of the development of strategic management of business organizations in the context of digital transformation. It is considered as a continuous process of using digital technologies to modify existing business processes, customer interaction and culture in order to meet the changing requirements of business and the market. Digital transformation requires a deep understanding of how technologies can be used to stimulate innovation, efficiency and growth in all aspects. Organizations operate in conditions of uncertainty, nonlinearity and acceleration of the pace of change. The digitalization of the economy has changed the logic of business functioning. The analysis of the trends in the development of strategic management of business organizations in the context of digital transformation is carried out and four fundamental changes are highlighted, which are reflected in the methodological basis of strategy making and in practical tools. The focus of strategic management is shifting to the cultivation of unique competencies that are difficult to imitate in the field of knowledge management, digital technologies, talents, and innovation processes. Emphasis is placed on modern strategic thinking. The transition to flexible strategic models inevitably entails a transformation of organizational forms and management practices. The focus is on data-driven strategies; platform strategies; strategies based on dynamic capabilities. The place and role of flexible strategic planning, continuous learning and improvement in the strategic management system are considered. The flexibility of the strategic architecture of a business organization, its ability to quickly adapt to a changing context, the involvement of employees in strategic thinking, as well as the use of data as a dynamic resource are becoming key conditions for sustainable development in the context of digital transformation. By providing employees with the right skills and tools, organizations can ensure that they are well equipped to advance digital transformation and remain competitive in the digital age.
